PHYSICAL CHARACTERIZATION OF IN SITU OPHTHALMIC GEL: A CONCISE REVIEW
نویسندگان
چکیده
In situ ophthalmic gel is a type of eye drug preparation that has higher bioavailability value and longer contact time with maximum therapeutic effect minimal side effects compared to conventional preparations. The in required characterization make sure the prepared preparations meet standards are safe when used. This journal review aims look at methods used characterizing physical properties formulations different active substances such as rheology studies, organoleptic tests, pH, clarity, gelling capacity. order get best formulation so provide effect.

A concise review of nano-plates
Recent works done by nano-engineers and nano-sciences about mechanical behavior of nano-plates including bending, buckling and vibration response were reviewed. The authors used non-classical elasticity theories to explain these behaviors of plate structures. Some of them employed Hamilton’s principle along with stain gradient theory, nonlocal theory, surface theory and couple stress theory to ...
متن کاملA Review: Polymeric In-situ Gel System
Smart polymeric systems represent promising means of delivering the drugs; these polymers undergo sol-gel transition, once administered. In-situ gel structure occurs due to one or combination of different stimuli like pH change, temperature modulation and ionic exchange. The formation of gels depends on factors like temperature modulation, pH change, presence of ions and ultra violet irradiatio...
متن کاملOptimization and evaluation of a thermoresponsive ophthalmic in situ gel containing curcumin-loaded albumin nanoparticles
This study aimed to optimize and evaluate a thermoresponsive ophthalmic in situ gel containing curcumin-loaded albumin nanoparticles (Cur-BSA-NPs-Gel). Albumin nanoparticles were prepared via a desolvation method, and the gels were prepared via a cold method. The central composite design and response surface method was used to evaluate the effects of varying Pluronic F127 and Pluronic F68 conce...
متن کاملDevelopment and Characterization of In Situ Oral Gel of Spiramycin
The present investigation deals with the optimization, formulation, and characterization of oral in situ gel of spiramycin. Sodium alginate and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose were used as cross-linking and viscosifying agents, respectively. Sodium bicarbonate was used as a floating agent. In preformulation studies, the melting point, pH, and partition coefficient were found to be 133 °C, 9.5, an...
